Thank you for agreeing to entertain the ladies of Pershore Inner Wheel on November 2006.

The meal of Spanish tapas you prepared for us was the best I have tasted this side of Madrid! All the ladies thoroughly enjoyed it, even those who do not eat ‘foreign food’ so that tells you everything.

Your talk afterwards about the food culture of Spain was very enlightening and together with your amusing anecdotes from your life as a chef to sporting celebrities, proved a very entertaining afternoon.

On behalf of all the ladies a big thank you. I wish you well with your cooking, speaking and MC engagements and would unreservedly recommend you to anyone who enjoys good food and amusing company.

We used Urban Thompson to preside over our Degree Congregations Dinner last year which was for around 450 people. We were most impressed by just how thorough he was in terms of learning about the event and indeed his attention to detail.

He was keen to ensure that he knew the key people attending and checked out difficult pronunciations in advance of the evening.
